ECEMTAG Control Technologies Inc. was established in February 2018 with the motivation to localize engine and transmission control technologies.

Our company provides electronic hardware and software development, project execution, and consultancy services for the control, monitoring, and protection of diesel and gasoline engines, as well as automatic transmission systems used in automotive, marine, railway, construction machinery, and military platforms. In addition, we offer solutions for electronic control units for next-generation electric and autonomous vehicles.

Within 8 years, ECEMTAG has built a team of more than 40 specialized engineers and continues to develop Engine Control Units (ECU) and Transmission Control Units (TCU) targeting both domestic and international heavy-duty powertrain markets. All electronic and mechanical hardware design, real-time embedded software development, and control algorithm design activities are carried out entirely in-house. The company also produces functional prototypes that are actively tested in the field. ECEMTAG has the capability to design, develop, manufacture, test, and validate engine and transmission control units in the power range of 20 to 20,000 kW.

Currently, within the scope of the strategic programs of the Presidency of Defence Industries, ECEMTAG is successfully executing ECU and TCU design and development activities for the Turkish Main Battle Tank and Next-Generation Light Armored Vehicle projects. The solutions developed in these projects control 8- and 12-cylinder V-type engines and 6-speed fully automatic transmissions, delivering 1,000 HP and 1,500 HP power outputs respectively for tracked military land vehicles. In recent years, we have also been successfully controlling military vehicle powertrains in the 50–750 HP range with our control unit solutions developed for 4- and 6-cylinder inline diesel engines.

Verification and testing processes constitute one of our highest priorities during development. In this context, thanks to our in-house Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) infrastructure, we are able to test and validate our software and hardware solutions in a highly accurate virtual environment before integration into real vehicles. This approach significantly reduces development time and minimizes field risks.

ECEMTAG provides cost-effective, reliable, and open-platform development tools suitable for projects of all scales. By utilizing the latest technologies such as scalable semiconductors and model-based design tools, we significantly accelerate the development process. With our experience in automotive software and hardware development, we offer development and consultancy services compliant with ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434) standards.

Since 2019, our company has been operating in a 500 m² office located in Istanbul Teknopark, which includes a standards-compliant electronics laboratory, HIL test setup, anechoic chamber, and system rooms. With our ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System and ISO 12207/15288 – CMMI v1.3 Level 2 compliant Process Management System, we deliver reliable solutions tailored to our customers’ needs.
