Transvaro was established in 1988 as a joint venture with American Varo Inc. The company was one of the first private sector investment in the Turkish defense industry. After 1995, the company has become a fully Turkish owned enterprise. Headquarters and the main factory located in Istanbul. Transvaro also operates several other facilities across the Türkiye. Additionally, 5,000 m² Electro-Optical production plant in Kocaeli.
